Help with setting up MP

Hello, I just bought Trinity on steam when it was on sale, and I've been trying to play with my brother who also got it on steam, we used to play this game on LAN a year or so ago and didn't have any problems, but now we're not on the same router anymore, and direct connection doesn't seem to work.

I was wondering if you guys used some sort of game browser, or anything else than Direct Connect to play on multiplayer, I've seen talks about ICO (which from what i understood is IronClad online), but i can't seem to find it, If anyone can enlighten me on how to play online it'd be great!

If you guys are not using any sort of browers, how would I be able to make Direct connect work?

ICO is accessed by the button on the main menu labeled "Ironclad Online."

Enter your serial number and then add a player. The name that you add is how you will be seen by others in-game.

You will be in the main lobby, and you can see/join games, chat, etc.

Alright thanks! I got direct connect working before we used ICO though, was a port problem :P Thanks anyway!

As a note for you Ian_92, ICO uses built-in software which solves port-forwarding problems. Just just log in and go to town. :-)

...only it doesn't always work.

I tried going online but it won't let me in.

I typed in my account name and password but it keeps on saying "Disconnected from Ironclad Online".

Is there a solution to this?

I bought my game off of Steam as well.

Ironclad Online on Diplomacy is temporarily offline for all of us, unfortunately. The Entrenchment/Vanilla server still works though.
