Just when I was getting close

Between 5:35 and 6:00 last night my laptop was stolen. Now...I've never been one to bitch about anything but this tears it. I get up to use the bathroom, five minutes and I come back and its gone! Everything I had was on my laptop, everything! A book I worked on for the last six years and was close to the final revision, gone! All the graphics I was given to build the smx for vStyler's Master WB's gone! Every damn thing I had is gone. Bad enough I have to struggle every damn day just to get a freakin' cup of coffee or something to eat and now I got to deal with this!?!? BULLSHIT!!

Bad enough I haven't got a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of and now this. Bad enough I got to deal with being homeless and stuck in this godawful fuckin' town. Now I got nothing...zip, zero zilch nada not a damn thing left! I am so sick and fuckin' disgusted with this shit. I mean...I don't steal, cheat or lie my way through life like so many of these other assholes do. I don't do drugs, I don't drink. What put me here was a couple of injuries that prevent me from doing manual labor but that's all there is. Sitting down is not an option because my legs swell up and I have to keep them elevated. Standing for long periods of time is also not an option as it kills my back. Do I qualify for assistance...no. Why...because according to welfare I'm still capable of working. Working at what? I'm damn near 60 years old. Who the hell is gonna hire an old fart like me? Too old for most jobs. Nobody wants a self taught computer tech because I have no certification, like I need a piece of paper to tell me I know how to do stuff. Just letting you know I'm out of it again and this time I doubt if I'll be able to get back and if I do it won't be for quite some time. The last time I got lucky, an acquaintance that doesn't know me from Adam gave me, not lent me but gave me the 180 dollars to buy a used laptop. She didn't even want me to pay her back. When I tell her this she's gonna freak! there is no way in hell I'm going to ask her or even hint at it. So...vStyler., I'm sorry but I won't be able to finish the skins. Its been fun guys. I can't say when I'll be able to get back here. My bitchin' for the day.

To all my brothers and sisters here at WC and yes to me you are that, you are my family...mine family. You have no idea just how much......how much you've touched my heart. To all of you....I love you guys more than.......sorry but I don't do choked up very well....I've never had to. To say that this has brought tears to my eyes....well if you could see the people here who have been pulling for me you'd know. What can I say except...I love you...all of you from the bottom of my heart for the kind words the help, the offers...everything. Sometimes I joke about my greedy self but that's all it is. Joking around. So...just to let you guys know that I'm not all that depressed how's this.......I'll take it all...send me stuff....jewelry...monies...laptops,,,desktops...bottomtops and even toptops if there's any left. Love every one of you and that's no joke. You guys are the best!!

Uvah, I am so glad so many people responded to your plight. It makes one feel good about the good people in the world but I cannot help but feel bad as well, Three years ago, when I reported on these forums that my computer had been stolen, I received all of 9 comments from the community. I guess you have formed more alliances here than I have. If there is anything I can do to help, feel free to PM me. I recently received a small settlement from my Moms life insurance so am in a position to be a little generous! <3
