Does anyone still play online?

I've logged in with Entrechment a couple times in the past couple days trying to find anyone playing...I have seen none.

I am wondering if everyone has diplomacy, or if there are just no games anymore...

I wouldn't mind purchasing diplomacy if that's the reason why I can't see anyone...

The community is fairly small but ya, all the action has moved to Diplomacy.

On Diplomacy in the evenings (or on the weekend) when people aren't at work/school there are often 30-60 people online.

But yes, lack of people is still a severe problem.

Yes, there are quite a lot of people who play Diplomacy, but you need to log on at the right time (evenings, afternoons). You can often find a couple 5v5 games going on or setting up at any one time.

Eeeyup, the people are on the Diplomacy expansion, which is on a separate server from Vanilla/Entrenchment.  There are normally several 4v4 and 5v5 games each evening North American time.

Coming up next will be Rebellion.

I argue the game being best played through LANing.  You just need a reliable mod to play on (I don't bother with vanilla due to TSOP).

I know the game was built to be played on most systems.  If you have friends with laptops, they could probable play it without much issue.  Doesn't require much to get a session together and play.  My sessions are weekly and usually burn up the whole evening (4-6 hours of gameplay).  Sometimes more if we decide to waste a day on the weekend.  Good times, really.
