Having a wierd issue. I can log in, click the pre-order button on the home page. Get a window that pops up showing the rebellion box, release date Q4 2011, 29.95, but from there nowhere that I can click to continue to purchase the pre-orer. Am I missing something, have they cut off the pre-orders allready, or is there something wrong with the site?
Hmmmm, well I have managed to figure out how I can buy it, unfortunately without the discount for being a previous owner. so...from there going to have to figure it out.

What exactly is the benefit of pre-ordering? Will you get a special discount if you pre-order? Will pre-ordering insure that the seller doesn't run out of digital downloads of the game?
I still have my email receipt that say "not charged yet" for 29.95 for Rebellion and will be charged later, back when it was announced. Back then the early pre-order was suppose to give access to the Beta version for those who already have the what has been released to this point.
I have no idea if that has changed or if the pre-order that is setup now will grant that.
It hasn't changed. They won't charge you until the beta is released. That said I would like to know if the $29.95 price for Rebellion is for preorders only.
Price point isn't for pre-ordering, it's for any existing Trinity/Diplomacy customers. Pre-ordering will gain you access to the beta when we make it available and help fund development. If you don't want to play the beta, no need to pre-order. 
Can we buy in to the beta when it comes out? I've held off on the preordering because I don't like the idea of having a transaction happening without my knowledge. I would've preferred being charged right then and there.
You could in all the previous betas, so I'm sure it will be possible.
