I arrived in sweden after 3 LONG plane rides....this is our first piccy together at the airport, with of course our traditinal cigs

I can tell from the look on your face, kitty, that you are as happy as can be... despite a bit of jet lag, perhaps, you are positively beaming.

It's so good to see... and Andrew looks to be over the moon as well, so it's a happy, happy day. :sun:

well its 5.30 am on my first morning in sweden [somebody is still asleep , I wont mention any names, because he is exhausted , I wonder why??? LOL

I took 3 flights to get to sweden, the first flight was from brisbane to singapore, and took 7 hours, it felt like a long flight but it was a good one.

two hours later I took a flight from singapore to london, 12 hours, that was the flight from hell, cause i had to try to sleep sitting up, and we had alot of turburlance and i had two screaming babies near me i truly dont know how i got through that flight!!!

last flight from london to sweden was the best cause it was under 2 hours!! anyways through customs i went and i met Andy for the very first time

in real life...... and he is just as amazing in real life as anything i could have dreamed of and more.

he is a true gentleman, he is kind, loving, caring, considerate, protective, a very bright and happy guy who always has a cocked grin on his face,

oh and he is the best fucking kisser....... talk about bubblegum heaven!!!! LOLZ

anyways enough info about that!, i truly for the first time in my life feel a true innard peace in my soul..

im soooooo happy!!!

kitty xxx

Hey kitty, an apology is not necessary, I/we understand how it must have been for you in the days leading up to your departure, and finding time to pop in here would not have been something you'd have had on your list of priorities at the time.  I remember when Shaunna was in a similar situation [when leaving Tassie to come live with me]... and I remember the phone calls in the days prior to take off when her focus was centred on the trip and being here with me.

So yeah, while it would have been nice to wish you all the best in person, I'm only too aware of all the stuff going on in the days before the flight.... like unpacking and repacking a dozen time to check nothing was forgotten.... triple checking passport and tickets and departure times every day to be sure, to be sure.... ringing the other end EVERY day to be sure they're at the airport so you don't get lost when you land.... running down the chemist to get travel sick pills.... twice, just in case the first ones don't work.... and going to the doctor for some pills to reduce the need to pee every 30 minutes because of nerves during the flight. cos having to walk the aisle to the loo every half hour can get embarrassing on a plane crowded with irritable passengers with not a lot else to look at.

:-" :w00t:

Nah, I wasn't that bad... well not quite, but there is a lot to think about prior to traveling, especially when you're relocating.  I've done it more than once now, and hopefully won't have to again.  I don't travel too well these days and I'm quite happy here at home anyway

Anyhow, lass, here's to your happiness, to both of you.  :sun:

What a nice story..............Best of luck to both of you  |-)

And we you... since meeting the real life person behind the bubbly online persona, you've been in our hearts as well.  Yup, you could say that you made a lasting impression on us because you're our kind of people.

:)

As for the cooking dinner and the kissing stuff ^... sounds like you've landed yourself an orright catch there... means Pepsi max can be overlooked and deals with the devil are a thing of the past, right?

And you wouldn't have known what hit you... what with kitty doing deals with the devil n' all.  :w00t:

Anyhow, if they're letting "every other nutter in".....  looks like if I'm up for the flight I'll be orright, then.

Played up a bit... er, quite a bit before I left in '69, and wasn't too sure if they'd ever let me back in.  :-" *_* :X

Nah, I'd be fine... still keep a British passport just in case this colonial bunch ever deport me. ;)

I wish you the all the best :)

Speaking of planes.....

Hehe, I was at Brisbane Airport when a planeload of 'unhappy at home' US immigrants landed....

....... the engines were turned off but the whining never stopped.

                                                                         .....................................................................................

Several hours after takeoff a plane still hadn't reached its destination in Brisbane and the worried minders in Canberra set off in search of it.  They came across a farmer ploughing his paddock and asked if he had seen a plane with a RAAF insignia on it.  He replied in the affirmative and explained that it had crashed in a fiery ball not far from where they were standing.  When asked of the condition of the plane he told them that it disintegrated upon impact and that there was nothing much left of it.

"So were there any survivors?", asked the lead minder.

"Nope," relied the farmer: "just finished burying the last one a few minutes ago."

"So, you're saying that Prime Minister Julia Gillard is dead?"

"She protested like all buggery and said that she wasn't... but everybody knows what a lying bitch she is." :-"

That one was for you, kitty... to remind you of home... and 'one' of the reasons you left. :w00t:

The oil and acrylic on linen portrait simply titled Julia is the work of Victorian artist Kathleen Vafiadis, who has painted Ms Gillard’s portrait on a number of occasions.

Julia was selected as a finalist and exhibited in the 2006 Archibald Prize when Australia's first female Prime Minister was Shadow Health Minister.

Kathy's my sister and yes, I've met Julia.

She's no more a 'liar' in politics than any/all of them....Howard's "there will NEVER be a GST" ...that went well.

She's not a bitch, either, no matter how much the sad, misogynistic male-dominated political system would like to have you believe.

[just being the balanced voice of reason here]....;p
