I would love to play a good long game or somehting fun, I have been playing this game since its, birth but have been out of the country and without much internet for a while. 

 

SO who is up for it?  I have DIPLOMACY and some mods and would be happy to get mods for a game

Like I said in the DS thread, I'm in.  (I prefer to play with Distant Stars Mod, but I'll do basic Diplomacy or Entrenchment if other players don't want DS or Diplomacy.)

I'd also be willing to play with other mods if the majority has one they like and can tell me where to get it.

I just need a bit of a heads up on when you want to play.  I'm currently looking for a job, so unless I get an interview soon, I'm available pretty much any time except sundy evenings.

Just in case you're wondering, not all of the games take forever to play.  You can do a 5v5 on Diplomacy in 1:30.  How is that?  The games are played with the Faster speed setting, Quickstart on, and you only really are responsible for taking down one opponent since you have 4 allies for the other four.  Also, once the writing is on the wall the losing players normally call it "gg" and quit, sparing the winners a boring mop-up job and allowing for the next game to start.
