Hi everyone,
just a quick question: is it possible to create a structure which increases the research rate and is limited to 1 per gravity well?
As part of my mod, i want to create such a building for the advent, but found no way to realize it..
if it can be done, some suggestions would be appreciated

I don't see anything that can be used directly but look over the artifact research archive and see if that can be of use.
I'm fairly sure there's an Advent tech that increases research speed. See what modifier that is and try to slap it on a building, as an ability or otherwise.
See soase maelstrom mod. Replicator race. Their entire research tree is all about reducing speed and cost and stuff.
well, the idea was to give the advent a structure which they can build once per planet and increases research speed by 10% or something.
(possible background: psionic connection between planets / collective consciousness speeds up research)
im aware of the possibility to increase research rate via research, but thats not what i want to do
my idea was to give the structure an ability/buff which does that, but i found no buff modifier which allowed it..
second idea was to give them a research subject which increases research speed in dependence to the number of colonized planets, but again, i found no way and i dont think this is possible.
basically, what i want to know is if its possible to increase research speed without research, not necessarily with a structure
Not possible.
Closest you can get is a pre-set artifact, and that requires a custom map and is only once-per-empire.
