Sins Diplomacy & Trinity Question

Hi,

I purchased the original version of Sin the other day and then recently downloaded the Entrenchment expansion.

I have now purchased the Diplomacy expansion, but i have a question regarding patches and the version i'll end up with if i download it through Impulse?

When notices say Sins Trinity/Diplomacy patch, does that mean it only patches if you actually installed the Trinity Version of the game, or it updates so long as you just have the regular Diplomacy expansion to your original game?

Additionally, is there an option on impulse to decide which version to patch to (or stop auto-patching), so that you dont HAVE to patch to the current version unless you want to?

Trinity and Diplomacy are the same thing--Trinity is just the bundled version which includes the base game and previous expansion in one package in addition to Diplomacy. Any Diplomacy updates apply regardless whether you have it as a part of Trinity or not.

Impulse does not forcibly auto-update, however only the latest version is provided. If you want an older version, you would need to not update or to archive the older version to later revert/reinstall.
