AI no longer using diplomatic ships?

So, all I did was update to the latest Diplomacy. Now, for no apparent reason, the AI will never send a single diplomatic ship into my space, even when I've maxed my relationship with them (I've offered every pact,) I won't get a single pact in return. In fact, in even 2+ hour games, I NEVER see a diplomatic ship not in my colors! ...Is something broken? Cos it's really sucking that I can't use the thing that... honestly... this entire expansion is built around.

Odd no one else has reported this issue, but anyways, does that particular AI player have an alliance with more than one player? Try setting up a locked teams game where you have 1 ally and see if its any different.

Yeah, no matter what I do, the AI refuses to generate a single diplomatic vessel.

Has this been the case for multiple games?

And the AI isn't sending envoys to other allied planets (of a 3rd faction) instead?

multiple games and no, I'm no the only one. None of the three AI's (I play on convergance against normal AI) have built a single diplomat.

Too be sure... you have no mods on?

If you bought it retail, try a reinstall through the disk and see if it works.

Going to try a complete reinstall. I had a mod (Simple personal-preference rebalance.) but turning it off did nothing

Correction. After uninstall-reinstall, the AI will send Diplomatic vessels. To eachother. Not me.

That's normal. Sometimes they have to many allies to be worth sending diplomatic ships to them all. Try having only one ally on locked teams and try that.
