Love this,i have winstep that has nexus and prefer it to objectdock plus.Love the sub docks for keeping all customize programs and all my weekly scanning software and browsers.I like the easy way to replace your original icons with your own with simple drag and drop and i can use objectdock themes and rocketdock themes.Go for the full winstep as you get a lot for your money.The whole package has been well thought out.

Oh, and in the next release (v11.4, private beta already available to registered Winstep users via the Winstep forums) you can combine all those nice unique mouse over effects you see on the video with the magnify effect to get the best of both worlds.

I wonder, my updates don't expire until August, if I buy it now will I get a year added to the August date or will it reset to April?

For Winstep Xtreme? Download it from the Winstep web site. The trial is the same as the registered version, the license key simply unlocks it past the 30 day trial period.

No. I got the Nexus dock is all. Why ... is there a difference?

 

Um ... it just occurred to me that with GOTD you get one shot at the install and activation. I recently re-formatted my drive and installed Win 7 Pro so whatever I did get from them is done. Oh well.

Well, send me an email to [email protected] (don't forget to say it's you) and I might have a little treat for you.

However, you have to promise me you will let me know directly if you have a problem with Nexus Ultimate (such as the one you mentioned, IIRC, about not being able to find the 3rd party dock skins in Ultimate). I have no problems with users posting about Winstep issues here, it's just that I obviously don't monitor the WC forums as frequently as I monitor the Winstep forums, so I might miss your posts unless someone tells me about them.

It's also a shame that the WC forums have no way to subscribe to threads and receive new reply notifications by email - that is such a useful function.
