Making an appearance...

Just popping my head up for a bit here.  I've lurked here and there but not really had much to say over the last several weeks (since my last article here).  There's certainly been things going on (the fight over the budget and the relatively paltry amount of cuts that were supposed made within same among those things), but for the most part it all continues to be stuff that just didn't seem to inspire me enough to write all that much.

I have done some writing elsewhere (another one of my favorite sites) and started some discussions there on issues of faith, religion, and the relative importance of the words in the bible for some while others don't quite see things as literally.  That discussion may have been interesting here, but I'm not sure to the same level as I saw on the site I posted it at.

Life continues to be hectic and finding the new normal continues to be a moving target.  The summer looks like it could be a busy one for me and my family and significant others but I'm glad for that.

I have not blogged on that, but I think you summarized it very well.

But you did not give us an update on your dating.  Is it going well?  Take care and write when you can.

Actually Dr Guy, I did update slightly, just not with many details:

The summer looks like it could be a busy one for me and my family and significant others but I'm glad for that.

The more detailed (but still not all that detailed) comment would be something along the lines of things seem to continue to move along nicely though the busy schedule for her and I both make things all the tougher to find time for each other as we would like. Lots of phone conversations, e-mail, chatting online and such, but actual face-to-face time continues to be hard to find. We are happy for what we do have though and again I think we'd both happily say things are very nice for us even with the lack of time.
