Worth listening/watching the new pre-release single if you're a fan or have never heard them.  Sort of a new sound for them but I like it.

Hrm, it's not bad, but for me, "Memories", "Pale", and "Somewhere" are still better :P

Just like the band.  Love lots of other songs by them just happy to see them moving on.  I'm pretty sure with this song they're making a move towards mainstream American pop to get more exposure in the market here (meaning: radio play). Be cool to hear the rest of the album I'm sure it has surprises.

Their previous album was amazing but now I don't know...

The album was released here in the US for 10USD--pretty cheap with the down economy and from Europe.  The sound is definitely a little pop-rock.

I am pretty certain this is their attempt to get a hit on US radio and pick up more listeners here so they can do bigger US tours.  People hear a catchy rock anthem...check the album and find it's a deal...and then go look at the rest of their music.

Bands like Nightwish and others have tried for US success but it is hard for European genre bands to get heard here on mainstream radio.  Having an accent or poorly worded lyrics is a turn off to most.

WT has great talent, their English is polished and the lyrics are good and relatable.  The single, Faster has a real chance to make it on the charts here.  If it gets them more exposure--more power to them.
