Re-Installing

from GalCiv2 Forums

Hi there!

 

well, I'd like to re-install GalCiv2 on my machine. I de-installed it a while ago because I added a second HD and wanted the first to be less occupied.

last time I used 'Stardock Central' to patch the Game.

 

Now my question: is SC still valid and can I use it to get the patches?

 

Just asking because Sins Of A Solar Empire does NOT use SC but bothers me with registering somewhere to get the bloody patches.

(did you guys change the CEO in the meantime or why is this unprofessional inconsistency?)

Stardock Central isn't used anymore, Impulse has replaced it.

All you need to do is login to Impulse using your account and GC2 should be there available to download.

Impulse is also used to patched Sins, but if that is one a separate account I would suggest merging them here: https://www.stardock.com/support/registrations/

Nothing has really changed except the transition from SDC to Impulse.

hm... so I need to download 'Impulse'?

I have neither reinstalled GC2 nor patched Sins yet...
