Elemental is $20 at my local wal-mart. is it finally time to buy this?

I've seen all the news - I know this game was garbage when it came out.  Last I heard it STILL doesn't have multiplayer despite being out for months, which is rediculous.

However, I saw the game at Wal-Mart for $20 and almost bought it.  I see it's still going for closer to $40 on the internet, so apparently that's the cheapest place to get it as of right now.  The question is, should I buy the game, or keep waiting until it's in the bargain bin for $10?  I do have plenty of other games to keep me busy for the time being, but I WAS looking forward to this one before the %$(%#storm when it was released.

Is it time?

Sure.

20 bucks? Yeah, you'll probably recoup most of that in savings on FE.

For $20, and the discount given to folks for FE who have Elemental after the deadline most likely, you might save yourself money by getting it now.

Yep. You'll be getting massive discounts on future expansions if you buy before FE comes out. And while the AI isn't the greatest, there's mods that make the game more interesting, and things can only get better.

I would wait until FE is released and we know what it brought if I were you.

Better pay a little more later for a good game well delivered than pay a little less to get burned by broken promises on a forum!

FE isn't going to just be War of magic + better stuff. It's significantly different.  I'm biased but at $20, it's a no brainer.

me too, I really hope Kael manages to bring over some of his FFH gameplay, or at least come up with new ideas equaly as awesome.  So much talent on the team between him and stardock.

Don't let him fool you. As the CEO, he has to fork over about 1.3 mil for EWoM and the two expansions. Of course 20 bucks seems like a good deal to him.
