This showed up after the latest windows update (the text "Search programs and files")

Don't think you can get rid of it that I know of. >:(

It looks like it's confined to Win7 64 bit >:(

That's one of the things I liked about the Win7 searchbox. No silly text in it like there was on Vista. We all know what the thing is for, we don't need them to tell us.

And why is the font italicized? It throws off the whole look of any skin!

I have Win7 64 bit, and I don't have that text showing.

Me neither and it looks like my typed font is the same as my windows font which I have changed in WB to be used system wide.<3

Grab some electrical tape, cut off a small strip, Place over offending image and press firmly. 8|

I think you mean duct tape.   :-"

I knew there was a reason why I haven't updated....still running 7.1 for both WB and SKS.

Nothing here either. Win7 64.

He means Microsoft Update not WB Update, MJ ;) I have confirmed that the text is still there without Windowblinds activated (plain Aero)

Strange that some have it and others don't :S

I wonder, not all updates are important. I usually only choose the important ones and select carefully (I hope) those others that are just recommended.  There were some win7 updates that I chose not to download.

I know that every time I update my audio I have to go back and reset my speaker types.

I cannot update. I download and it says successful. Then when I turn around ( ;) ) it says I need to download my windows updates.

So I am now thinking this is good.

OOPS! :\   I didn't catch that!  Well, I don't have that ugly text on my blinds...running Win7, 32 bit.  And I have all the Windows Updates installed.
