Firing alingment

also does anybody know where i ca find the asteroid belt planet model i want to add a lot of debris floating around as well as some destroyed spaceships for different games and moves etc
Actually what tilt forward does is that it rotates the model up or down (I think - is up) without changing the firing arcs.
The name of the .mesh can be found by going to the ateroid belt planet .entitiy file. Is the asteriods/scrap only something visual or should it also be something functional?

only difference is that it is going to have damaged, destroyed, and scrap pieces as well as fully operational capital cruiser and frigates. the damaged ones are going to be capture able
i was hoping it would change the firing arcs Ive been having a problem with one of my ships i made where all the weapons are on the right side and the damage is set as well too only right and it can shoot right but it wants to constantly shoot left
Dante, that's not something the firing alignment code line can fix. It probably is being caused because all meshes are mirrored in the Sins engine as compared to what they look like in a modeling program. So, you need to place the weapon point on the left of the mesh in order for them to shoot from the starboard side. Since I've been so busy with modeling/texturing the past 6 months or so, I'm a bit rusty on mesh/entity interactions. I'm not sure if you'll still place weapon damage in the right bank or if you'll need to move it to the left. The best I can tell you is to experiment and see what happens on that front.
I know it doesn't make any sense, but there you have it.
sob oh well need to edit the model anyways
only question i have for you is are your weapons on the right side of the ship riged to face/fire to the right (because if you point the rig in the wrong direction it wont fire as you would want)

i have had so many probelms with this ship its not funny
i have tried several things including re hard pointing it, and making so it can only fire right and it still turns left
