Sword of the Stars (Complete) vs Sins of a Solar Empire (Complete)

Sword of the Stars (Complete) vs Sins of a Solar Empire (Complete)

I have Sword of the Stars complete edition. It has the things that I love about space games: the ability to customize ships and a huge in-depth tech tree (not to mention the differences of each of the factions does impact gameplay).

Why should I bother with Sins of a Solar Empire? I've never played it but I've read about it and watched videos etc. Is it worth getting if I already have SotS?

Neither include pink ponies. Thus, they are both wanting.

Includes in the default install?

I can add pink ponies to SotS rather trivially if I wanted to, but I really don't want to.

Ponies make me :'(

The most recent (ANY 1.80) is far superior to anything pre ANY, for a variety of reasons.

Or the Complete Edition that have everything in Argos Naval Yard + a bonus scenario that leads into SotS II.

However, SotS has dragons. In space. With lots of cool energy weapons. And they will punt those stupid monkies back to Sol.

Not to mention all those fun random encounters.

SotS better in the long battles. When there is an opportunity to play all day long.

Sins great wins in short bouts.

Both. I will slide a victory to Sots but soon Sins rebellion will have Star Trek Armada 3 mod and I'll be so happy.  :')  -

Short and sweet sins is what ya want. Long haul Sots (well both but more so Sots). You will get your moneys worth for both thats for sure.

I also can't wait for the Twilight Mod for Sots-
