I got a 27" imac, pics included.

Got an older model 27" i5 with 4850 for $1584 shipped, new.  4 gigs ram, 1 tb hdd.  I also got a magic trackpad.

The imac is excellent.  Nice screen.  Nice res.  Crap gpu, but expected.

Magic mouse rocks and sucks.  I like how it works, but the damn thing is too small for my hands.  I keep a razer deathadder beside it.

Magic trackpad is suprisingly excellent.  Good tracking, feels good to the tough, and big.  Better even the macbook trackpad.

Anyway...

Pictured is:

Imac i5 27", 4 gigs ram, 1 tb hdd, 4850
13" macbook (Current gen), 4 gigs ram
ipad 16 gig
iphone 4 16 gig
ipod shuffle 2g (latest gen)
wireless keyboard
magic mouse
magic trackpad
Microsoft Office 2011 home and student
Ratpadx XT (really good mousepad)
Razer Deathadder
7" portable tv
ups with lcd
a bunch of games....

Personally prefer Win7 and PC. I use a nice imac at work so I can compare. imac is a very nice computer. This setup looks awesome but if I had to choose I'd still go PC and win7. In a perfect world I'd have both. :D

Nice.  I was an Apple Tech for a few years.... and just make sure to surge protect that iMac.  The P/S is VERY sensitive.

And that screen is gorgeous, no?

Look at all those beautiful paperweights! You'll never lose anything to an unanticipated breeze again!

Sorry couldn't help it. I worked in a Best Buy for a while and had many conversations with the Apple rep that worked the booth there.

The Dark Knight 2008 challenge - I've seen several pics you've been kind enough to post here and there on the forums, but haven't jumped in the past.  Can you come up with a way to make your great setup look less cluttered?  You have so much fun tech, but your office/room just looks like a technology explosion.  Its like China took a $3,000 dump on your table.  :)

Don't get me wrong... I'm not jealous or anything...

Here's a little tip...If you want people to think you have good taste you shouldn't have a copy of Undercover Brother in your picture. ;)
