HUGE Users folder...

Okay Windows 7 experts... can anyone tell me why my Users folder is 119 GB?

Mine is 91 G with 84 of that in MY VIDEOS folder which I would expect.

Can you drill down to see which sub-folder is the "guilty" one(s)?

Music and videos take up a lot of space. Do you have a lot of those?

Because of what you've got in it...?

Open your explorer (or whatever you use instead) and check out the folders in your Users.

Mine's 4.56gig.

My whole OS HD isn't 119 .....it's 60gig....;)

Un-hide folders and see what it is.

Mine is 10.2 gigs and my download folder is 7.68 gigs. Go figure.

A program like WinDirStat can be used to check out drive usage.

Mine is 200 GB, but I have a lot of photos.

I guess I should have been more specific... It's 119 GB but the sum of all the folders doesn't come anywhere near that.

my is 6.5 gig. these do include the "my documents" variety of files which, I for one, store most of my saved files.

Ok, for some reason, my iTunes music folder was hidden.  Thus the huge discrepancy.  That actually would explain a few other issues I was having as well.  Dur.
