He's Got it! Jacksonville wins!

For my friends

For my good buddies  John , Tom and Bob.....

Yesterday, Josh Scobee, The Jacksonville Jaguars kicker hit a 59 yard field goal to beat the Colts in the last seconds of the game.

i just HAD to post this, it's been a long time coming, I just couldn't feel any better for me, the team, and Josh Scobee who you can see afterward, thought it was pretty damn good too.

The Colts played a great game, but this... was our day. :sun: :smitten:

I'm not a Jags fan, but as a Patriots fan, I've disliked the Colts for about a decade now... so it always warms my heart to see something like this.  :)

the colts played a great game? what game were you watching? we couldn't run the ball AGAIN. the colts defense couldn't stop a pee wee league team sunday. eldridge can't catch a ball which ends up being intercepted and reg lays the ball down on the 4. that's two td's that would've put that game out of reach. jax played about as well as they can but indy sucked. somebody needs to get our d-backs to man up and defend a pass every now and then. maybe the colts need to practice in pads  and actually tackling people instead of practicing in shorts and t-shirts like they usually do during the season.

Nice kick, But certainly nothing special. Players of australian rules football kick goals from further out every week.

Looks like he had about another yard or 2 extra.  Damn fine kick.

Yup, and rugby players kick from the sidelines... They don't put the ball in the middle of the field where it's nice and straight ;)

Perhaps, and Scobee kicks routinely from 65 in practice, However , I don't think in Aussie rules football you have 11 men, a few feet away charging you, Do they even place kick off the ground ? I thought i was all drop kicks in Aussie rules.

And don't they take about a 10 yard run up, not the 2 maybe 3 strides a place kicker takes.

Not just the that ball.  X|  :puke:

yeah,  settled, NFL kickers definitely better

Totally different ball in oz rules, it's heavier and larger. I kick a ball 60m down the park while mucking around with my mates.

They don't have 11 men charging at them but they do it while running, on a angle and people trying to take them out. ;)

Not like those nancy boy with hard helmets, face grills, ball protectors and padding everywhere.

In rugby league the contact is just as ferocious, yet you don't see our boys dressed up to the nines in protective gear.

What do they call that big girls blouse game again?   Grid what??? :w00t:
