Do You "Skin" Your Browser Start Page?

Well maybe skinning isn't the correct word for this.  How about "customize" your browser start page?  I have used iGoogle for ages as my browser start page.  It displays some news headlines, a few RSS feeds, my inbox, weather info, etc.

So back to the question.  Do you "customize" your browser start page?

Post a screenshot if you do!

Oh hellz yeah I skin that!  I use iGoogle's ThemeMaker http://www.google.com/ig/tm and create them with the wallpapers I use.  Here's my current one:

I've been using the free version of  Flavors.me as my start page because I can use any wallpaper, change colors and fonts to match my desktop.

That looks interesting.  Bookmarked to check out later.

I used to customize my browser start page but nowadays I keep it to a minimum - Google Hot Trends (for amusement), Google Calendar, and Weather.  I'm always opening new windows and preferred a quicker loading page over gimmicks.

I do like Firefox's Personas.  I'm currently using Simple Firefox.

Does appreciating minimalist art and music mean I can count starting with a blank page as 'skinning?'

There's a skinning knife around here, but it would be too much work.

Do you live by this motto when it comes to choosing a significant other? :P

I don't really use a browser start page, firefox just restores the tabs I was using when it shut down.

Indeed I do!  I'm disfunctional, so I'm not in the market. :)

i use a html page that just has a background image and some hyperlinks to my most commonly visited sites.

Same for me, simple homepage with hyperlinks.

Also while we're at it, I'm quite fond of how skinnable Opera can get, even if still ways behind Firefox.

Antique thread...

But here it's just boring old IE9 with 4 'home pages'...auto-loading WC Admin....WC...Flightsim.com and Sim-outhouse.com ...;)

Actually, instead of a start page on my desktop, I use Session Manager to restore the tabs that I last had up.  Usually there are a few pages that I'm working on and having them load up every time saves me the trouble of navigating.

I just have multiple tabs open up to the pages I want to see.

Wow, I didn't realize this thread was that old. o_O
