Hidden & Dangerous 2

Anyone here ever play Hidden & Dangerous 2 for PC? I remember a couple years ago I bought this game new from GameStop for like $2.99, I had no idea what it was about, but I bought it simply because it's so cheap. I still love this game. You command a squad of special forces soldiers during World War II, and unlike traditional World War II games, it's a tactical first-person shooter. Despite the game being released in 2003, it still has a lot of players who still play it online.

First one was released for free, if you need the fix. Have a look for Hidden and Dangerous Gold or some such. It fixed a lot of the more glarring bugs, too.

First one was classic imo, second one was cool but didnt seem as gripping to me.

I got both games and lvoed them

 

The second one was a little better (less choppy graph IMO, but less large scale missions) plus it is one of the rare WW2 games where the Lee-Enfield rifle is shown with a box magazine, instead of 2 stick clip (I'm looking at you Call of Duty, nice way to lazy the animation process )

played the first one when it came out. Too many movement issues. Controls were lacking.

 

Played the second one. WOWWWWWWWWWWW. Amazing game. Best strategic shooter i ever played.

So many ways to do a mission. Love the inventory and RPG system in the game.

I tell my people about this game and i describe things that happen while in a mission, from getting my helmet shot off and picking it back up to having my friendly AI sniper save my life when i had a nazi pulled a gun on me while climbing a ladder. And people are like WOW got to try that game.

Should be on GOG.

 

Really till this day nothing comes close. All this Modern Warfare or SOCOM is total BS.
