Grouping Superweapons and firing?

Is there a way to fire all grouped super weapons at the same time at the same target? I had 27 kostura cannons bound to '1' but I could only fire the first cannon in the group.

I really think having more than 10 (bound to 0-9) is pointless unless they can all be fired at the same time, going to each individual planet for the other 17 is just not worth the time lol.

I don't think so. I build enough to kill a planet and thats all. Set the other 17 to auto but that means a planet you take can be bombed repeatedly by your own guns after you have taken it. That's why I stopped building more.

Nope, its the typical issue with all ablities. All superweapons operate by abilities and there is no way to group fire/activate abilities.

Yes; just press tab and it will go to the next superweapon that's in your selection.  I do it all the time.

Works for capital ships that are grouped together, as well.

The feature is called sub-grouping, by the way.  All units in your selection are "sub-grouped" by type, with large units (capital ships and superweapons) grouped alone.  Tab cycles through each subgroup in your current selection.  This is actually a feature that was introduced to the genre by Warcraft III nearly a decade ago.  It was really revolutionary, but has never gained much mainstream attention despite its immense usefulness.
