[eWIP] Weapons oh so beautiful weapons

Hey there ^^ since Heavenfall was able to get things in the game,  figured it might be a good time to do some models for the game.

 

One of the models:

 

A new Spear

 

 

 

Will do more, but Im busy with the Tarthan retex ATM, just wanted to let you know Im working ^^

 

 

 

 

A basic bow, will do more exotic ones later on

 

 

The low poly Katana

 

 

The first set of claws, will redo the texture somewhere down the line though.

 

 

The hook swords

Haven´t  implemented them, since they would be an armor piece and I haven´t figured those out yet :-/, but it was requested so I did it anyway ^^"

@Aerion Istari: These will be released in a pack, since Im not finished with all of them, they aren´t available yet, sorry.

 

@Gravedancer: ;) will do a traditional fan (for women) and the feathery one from Zughe. Three Kingdoms - Resurrection Of The Dragon is also pretty funny although Zhuge only appears a few times since it is mainly about Zhao Yun Zilong.

You really should start testing how they look in-game. That texture won't look anything like that.

Thats why this won´t be released until the offical converter is finally here, the textures do look funny ingame, so this method is a no go. However people can tell me what they want and I will do so. So that I only have to port them, once the plugin is released. Your way of implementation however kicked me to actually start doing stuff. Thank you for that btw ^^

I couldn't find anything better than the picture Gravedancer posted. The glowy ball thing in the middle only appears when in combat mode. The rest of the time it looks like a spear with a antlered deer head with blades on the end of the horns. It could make a wicked Druid staff instead of a spear :).

Really liked the spear.  There are several books on the movie LotR that had sketches and up close shots of the weapons and equipment used.  Might be good for a reference.

Here are a couple of weapons from Shadowbane I would like to see:

The first is the Bladeweaver swords called Tlanarions and the second one is a long blade. The first one is meant to be dual wielded, the second is a two handed straight blade similar in appearance to the katana with a small hilt.

 

The weapons you have made so far look excellent. I hope you find the time to create these as well!
