need ppl to play with

You can still find 3v3s, 4v4s, and 5v5s p-v-p games on the Diplomacy expansion.  Most of the people who are playing regular Sins and Entrenchment are just noobs playing comp stomps with their friends.  Overall, the player counts are low but you can still find games on Diplomacy during North American prime time, say from 7 pm - 11 pm U.S. Eastern Time.  It's better on the weekends, especially on Sunday.

We lost a lot of players when Diplomacy was released and then we lost more when Starcraft 2 came out, so online multiplayer activity is pretty much on life support right now.  Lately the average Diplomacy player count seems to be 25-30 people, but many of those people play p-v-p (though there are still some noobs who play comp stomps).

Clan activity is dead.  Actually, it was never really alive.  Sins just never had the player counts needed to have a large enough online PvP community to support clan activity.

This probably doesn't help but I am in the process of learning Sins of a solar empire and was hoping to eventually play Multi/online play.Since I'm just starting I wouldnt offer any competitions but I would accept any help/tips to get up to speed to play some games with you.I am drawn to this game for some reason and I don't know why but it has some really unique characteristics not seen in other games.
