how does this compare to the original worms 2, armagedon, or World party?
I have played a few worms titles since world party, and have been nothing but disappointed. The physics hit detection is a lot more questionable. The UI is the very worst. And the gun selection is painfully limited. While I agree that too many weapons is troublesome, since it makes it tough to choose to turn off certain things like 'ninja rope' or 'teleport' and it is not very fun if everybody is just throwing around 'super banana bombs' or <insert super weapon here>. However I feel like the weapon selections are in fact SO limited in the newer games, that quickly I become bored. (the poor UI is my biggest beef, followed by the lack-luster level options)
The amount of options are limited, and as a general rule I enjoy playing Worms World Party or even Worms 2 far more. I even noticed they released a "worms armagedon" for the Xbox or something like that, but it appeared to still lack many of the features and weapons that the original worms Armageddon featured.
