major props to Stardock... maintained a 3MB/s download and got the entire 2GB file in <10 mins. Off to play! Cheers!

Doesn't change the fact that I can't get on the chat.  Also, where do i download it from? I pre-ordered on Friday.

Yup can't get into the chat either... when I type /join #elemental nothing happens and I get kicked from the server within a couple minutes...

go to My Games and hit the down arrow at the top left, make sure pre-release games is checked

I've tried everything pre-release is checked, refreshed a million times and despite pre-ordering weeks ago the game is not showing in my account, hell I can't even monitor the chat (get a bunch of names and numbers instead of chat). I'm starting to freak, must play NOW!

I can't find the game on my impulse account at all, and as I said I can't connect to the chat either.  What can I do?

If its only pre-order, it can take a bit more time, i think they said up to 5 hours. The pre-orders who had the beta are already downloading since their keys and info were already in the database.

Am downloading madly now.

Was NOT part of the BETA (a new dad again, thanks) but preordered on 7/30.  Prior experience tells me the preorders will be processed largely in the order they were placed.  If you are a very recent preorder, hang in there...your turn is coming.

And yes, they process the pre-orders in order they were recieved, but it can take up to 5 hours, most likely for the last ones. Keep trying guys, its a whole new world. err... not like the little mermaid new world... more like Richard's (from LFG) slaughter the world.

Hello from Canada, i have my heater, coffee plugged in, beer fridge full, phone for pizza, porter toilet behind me. All set. But have no time it's almost 5am going to work soon. Enjoy everyone till later today or this week.

I saw it get as high as 652 right before the release.

Pre-release hype have always been strong. Remembers me of GameReplays IRC channel for Battle For Middle Earth II.

I wonder how many people Blizzard could cram into a channel if they did the same thing with StarCraft II and Diablo III . Probably 100.000....Imagine that channel without +v!
