Will Digital (And paid for box) of Limited Edition get all the 'exclusive' content?

I really dislike the gimmick of content that isn't available to everyone, especially when it affects game play.  Will everyone have access to this?  We all pay for the same game.

EDIT: If its something silly like, a real item (AKA figurine or soundtrack CD) its not a big deal.  But when its actually enhances the game in some way...

Double edit: We all get the exclusive content eventually! Wohoo! Fears are assauged!  Thank you Stardock / Frogboy!  Silly of me to doubt.

I want to know. We would then have objective benchmark for saying to people 'Stardock loves us at least this much and more'. :-P

You guys don't want to know what we gave up (financially) to be able to give out the bonus quests to all users after 90 days.

For this I will be buying your book! Thank you for your initial sacrifice.

Hey, you gotta stick to your guns. Even in the face of large amounts of money. And you know we love you for it.

What is the downside?

The consumer doesn't get to base vendor choice on the merits of the vendor.  If you don't give Best Buy or Wal-mart your business, you can't have the content (or in this case, you can't have the content for 3 months).

It's a deal that benefits the vendor and the developer.  What is the upside?

I understand the benefit to the developer (and retailer), but it isn't something I enjoy seeing as a consumer.  Depending upon the game, exclusive content itself, and the vendors involved, it sometimes bothers me to the point of just dropping the purchase altogether.

I'll wait the 90 days (or more, depending upon when/if the content gets released to everyone) just like all the other Stardock pre-order customers.  It isn't as if I have a choice.

Will the book exclusive fall under the same terms?

No.  The book campaign is something completely different. The book campaign is not part of the game but rather is a story that uses the Elemental engine.

Up until just now, I thought the book exclusive was a mod or addon type content that you'd use within Elemental.  What you just wrote makes it sound like a stand-alone product that either doesn't require the game to be installed, or (if it does require the game installed) runs entirely separate from main game.

So....what is the bonus content?

I got a message saying it would be delivered later in the week....but I'm not noticing anything different...
