i want to join a clan, but there has not been any clans that i can get in touch with, in the game i am either jr spartan or UNSC SPIRIT OF FIRE and my record is 38 games 17\w 2\L for jr spartan and the other is kinda new.
Clanning is pretty dead. In fact, it was never really alive for Sins, not in the sense of having numerous clans that competed against each other in leagues and on ladders. The only clan where I see more than one or two people on at a time is _|~ Defiant Unity. Members of [DT] Dream Team and [_]-Brothers in Arms are still around, too. I don't think any of them are really recruiting and there isn't much of a reason or purpose to want to join a clan now.
If you are interested, then, as always, the best way to join a clan is to make a name for yourself and to get to know members of the clan. Make friends with them first and then ask. Come play in the 4v4s and 5v5s on Diplomacy to meet them. That really is the best way to join a clan in any game--get to know the people first. Hang out in their IRC chat channels (or wherever they hang out), etc.
thanks for the advice and really all im looking for is a group of people that i can play with.
though if any clan member can play me i can at least try to show my worth
and i have only entrenchment and vanilla sins
In that case, I think you'll have better luck posting on the "Multiplayer Organizer" forum. There are groups of real-life friends who play, but they might not read the forums. Maybe you could log onto ICO and just chat with people and let them know that you're a new player looking for a friendly group to join. You could ask people, politely, if they would let you into their private friends-only games.
