Currently I find myself always reaching for the escape key to close poip up windows like the building selection window. Is the small cross in the top right the only way to close windows and the manual? Recommendation is to add also the escape key (or some other).
I concur.
Plus, I find myself annoyed by the Civ-like "play a few more turns" pop-up window when you want to quit the game. It is more frustrating than titillating. The only reason such a pop-up window should exist, in my imperfect opinion, is to prevent the risk of quitting the game unintentionally by hitting a common key, e.g. when in Dom3 you hit "e" for escape. Even in this case, I am not certain it is the best way to do it.
Anyway, keep up the good work!
Concur with the OP. In fact, I may have caused a crash by trying to close a popup window with the "return" key. But yes, ESC makes the most sense.
I'd also like many more keyboard shortcuts in general, especially numpad for movement. My wrist hurts after playing Elemental for an hour.
