Had to format and reinstall, OD plus not working right now.

My motherboard died and so I had to do a fresh install of everything. I have WinXP sp3 and all my Stardock stuff is expired but everything is in place now ObjectDock Plus, ObjectDesktop, etc. I'm using ObjectDock Plus1.91k[a].025_03.24.2008.impulse. I don't know what the problem is, and I've had to redo everything several times in the past but this time my dock is not using my icons, it's just using the exe's of whatever right now. Unless I'm forgetting or not doing something right, I have the .ini in themes and have imported the dockzip and tried reloading several times even using different combos of the apply dialog box. My ini appears to look right and shows all 124 (mostly pngs). All images are in documents/Stardock/images. The dock is correct looking except for not using my icons. What am I forgetting or doing wrong? Thanks.

Is that where they were before the re-install?  Double check the paths in the ini files against where they are now and make sure they are exactly the same.  One thing that comes to mind - is your logon user name still exactly the same?

You're exactly right DaveRI thanks! I didn't even write the path exactly right in my post anyway, but I used my first name and last initial this time when I usually just use my first name! I had already changed my name back in user accounts but it doesn't reflect that in the documents and settings folder, won't let me just change the folder name. I need to change that back. Thanks again!

I had to reacquaint myself with manipulating account folders in documents and settings but all is fine now, thanks again DaveRI..

Glad you got it fixed the way you want.  :thumbsup:

For someone else stumbling onto this post, an alternative to changing the new directory structure back to the old one is to edit the ini files to make them match the new directories.  You can use the "Replace" function in notepad to replace the old paths with the new paths.
