[0.98][BUG] Losing Essence

from Elemental Forums

I can't really tell when its happening, but I've observed it quite a few times after loading a save. My sovereign had 36 essence at one point - then, after loading a save I just had 32. By now, a few saves/loads later, I've got just 22 left.

Have you imbued heroes or used other essence-consuming spells?

OR were you killed or force to retreat in combat?  That will reduce essence as well.

sorry, I somehow seem to have 'lost' the post (as I did with my essence *g*), couldn't find it in the forum anymore, only now I had the glorious idea of checking under 'my posts'

I should have been more specific, as I know of the intended essence-losing-events like dying and imbuing, but apart from giving birth (not much under my control and afaik not troublesome in this regard) nothing special happened.

or in other words: it happened after loading a game, not after some special event. I did die a few times but that loss I've taken into account (or reloaded ;-) ) so I'm really losing essence, not just displacing it *g*
