i think you shood go for some shallow

ok as far as the sub i think you shood go for some shallow mount subs pioneer makes some really good ones cuz the tacoma dosent really have much space even a double cab the shallow subs will be able to be hidden but you could also go for those eight inch the stereo just make sure you get any one that has at least 3 output front/rear/and sub this way you can connect 2amps one for your subs and another for your speakers. Now the speakers i would recomend getting some alpine type R or some performance teknics also any component speakers are good now the amp you shood get one that is 2 channel and depending on the watts your subs can handle go by that EX: 2- 500 watt sub. shood have a amp that that is 1,000 watts
but you can also go by the rms of the subs if the subs can handle 300 watts rms then get a n amp that pushes 250 or 300 watts rms .
rms is the amount of constant power being run into your subs or being pushed out from your amp
