The favorites menu in IE

I can't seem to find a way to change the mouseover text color for the favorites menu, anyone know where I would do this or if it is possible?

Not positive, but I seem to recall an earlier thread that said it couldn't be done. Maybe in a future build.

That's right, it can't be done yet. But in WB3, we couldn't skin the Favorites menu at all, so we're making progress.

You were supposed to prove me wrong MikeB!! Oh well, too bad there isn't a way around it. ON the skin I'm doing right now, the default text color is the same color as the mouseover image. I guess I'll just have to live with it (for now).

From what I understand, the Favs is a totally different type of menu, and as Mike points out, couldn't be skinned until WB4.

Yeah, I think it's technically a toolbar, The menu is somehow converted to it, but the text only takes the one color and there is no way to change it. I've noticed if you click and hold an item or try to drag it the menu skin disappears and you are left with the "classic" menu look like you would get if using WB 3x. I'm left with the choice of re-designing the menu or living with it. I think I'm going to just live with it and hope they fix it soon cause I like the way the menu turned out.

That one messes with lots of skins.I dont even remember if changing the default system text color affected it.Think that may be one reason so many skins use grey color schemes.Less trouble getting text to work across the entire skin
