Every game it seems there are very very few hireable female heroes. So if I'm playing a male sovereign I can go for a very very long time without marrying. ie-no children to mold in my little league father image. So add more female heroes/increase their random generation possibility?

Heh, I think you mean psychologists are in high demand at Starbucks.

Sociologists are more in demand by Satirists ... particularly Dadaists :p

You should be able to request a marriage from your enemy, without actually having to find someone of the opposite gender, for diplomatic reason, or marry someone from inside your city walls.

Heh ... if you marry someone within the city walls they should definitely be called Jane Doe or John Smith. Definitely one of the random names for a female within city walls should be Jane Doe though

:p
