How A Netgear Router (NOT Impulse) Ruined My Night...
I tried to install Elemental and came into a gaggle of problems. Since no one seems to exist in the Impulse forums, I shall recap my sorrow here...
Impulse has gone whack for me. I had to uninstall it b/c of "download verification errors" whenever I updated an old game or tried to install a new game.
So, I then tried to reinstall it from an installer downloaded directly from the Impulse site and that was considered "corrupt" and it asked me to find a new file. I wanted to blame myself (virus?) but was suspicious b/c my puter is on lockdown...
I then tracked an old installer down away from the main site and that is the only one that actually installed. It updated by itself to the most recent version of Impulse but then once again I got "download verification errors."
I replayed this vicious cycle from 7pm to 7am. And yes, I'm either persistent or stupid, and probably a combination of both.
I even went as far as deleting every possible firewall-creating software I own, but I am convinced that is far from the issue.
Long story short, no working Impulse = no working Elemental (or updated Sins)...
Help me Frogboy, you're my only hope...
