Anyone know how to fix no favor points being added after multiplayer games?

My friends and I picked up Demigod in the recent Impulse sale and are still quite new to the game.  I messed around in single player a lot and earned enough points for the teleport item (1100ish points) and decided that was definitely what I wanted to save my points for in multiplayer.  My friends and I play skirmish games vs. AI's, and I got up to 770 points, then stopped earning points at all.  The game says I earned points in the batle summary at the end, but I never actually have them when I start up the next game.  My friends sometimes get points and sometimes don't.  We have established that it doesn't matter who hosts the game.  Any ideas?  I'd really like to be able to use the teleport item in our skirmishes...  Are there some rules governing how favor points are awarded that we don't know about?

You don't get favor for playing AIs. You do, however, get favor for getting achievements. You were probably getting the points for the 'Win a game with X' or so on and when you stopped getting them, didn't get any more.

If you need a bit more, try this:

Start a game, make the starting lvl 20, starting War Rank 10 and Filthy Rich. Play Sedna and summon yetis at the crystal till you get the award. You get the award for summoning them and getting lvl 20.

Get giants and beat the AI then do it with QoT. You should have enough then :)
