Latest WB 7 Issues

a few things that need attn. in latest version of WB.

 

applying a skin is taking significantly longer than it used to... It was 1-3 secs. Now it is 8-12 secs. Something def. wrong there.

 

Header bar text color states are not working at all.

 

When i load Outer limits, normal Vista version, In 7, the little animated spotlights at top of start menu are WAY out of place.

 

Also in SKS 7 several sections not opening in the correct section in the tree or opening with the tree completely closed.

 

Theres one more thing, will add when i remember Neil.

Side question - where the heck is this WB update available?
It ain't showing up in Impulse...

PS.: It's having the same 'issues' with the Outer Limits startmenu animations.

Oh.. well, heh.. its a diff. server than you guys are using, :blush:   Neil has this version tho, so giving him a heads up.. The header bar text color issue is broke on all versions.

 

I know that for sure, not sure about the applying time or Outer limits Issues.

No offence, to either of you, but if you are on such "private" terms that you're swapping unreleased updates, how about using direct contact, instead of posting on the board?

Not swapping anything, some of us just have access to a different server is all, This is the easiest, most direct way for me to point out issues. Also it lets Neil know what issues are combined on all releases.

The Outer limits start menu animation issue for example.

Well, in such cases it might be a better choice to use our fine PM system - just to avoid confusion.

Discussion about private builds should not take place on WC.

Regarding the header bar issue, I am afraid this is not a new thing.  Windows 7 header bars in explorer / file dialogs only support the one text colour.  Header bars in apps like Taskmanager on the progress tab support multiple states.  This is an OS limitation.
