Thanks loukeeya, though I'm probably too old for surprises nowadays... birthday or otherwise.  By the time a surprise registers, either the novelty has worn off or I've forgotten it.

I was rather hoping my son... a nephew... anybody would take me to a titty bar to celebrate, but no... nobody came.  The excuses were: "Sorry, I gotta work." and: "I gotta take the kids to footy practice.", but I know the real reason they wouldn't take me.  None of them wanted to be seen sitting next to a wrinkly old fart who periodically had to roll his tongue back up and put it away.
