Citadel Upgrades plz fix in v1.3

Building Firepower

  • Level 1 - War Rank 2 - 500 gold
    • Buildings gain +10% damage and splash damage.
    • Splash is 10% of building damage on a radius of 1.
  • Level 2 - War Rank 4 - 1500 gold
    • Buildings gain +15% damage and splash damage.
    • Splash is 30% of building damage on a radius of 1.5.
  • Level 3 - War Rank 6 - 2500 gold
    • Buildings gain +20% damage and splash damage.
    • Splash is 40% of building damage on a radius of 2.
  • Level 4 - War Rank 9- 3500 gold
    • Buildings gain +25% damage and splash damage.
    • Splash is 50% of building damage on a radius of 2.5

fix it to 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%

I mean just make it worth the money. (YES I THINK 20% WORTH 500G, its pretty awesome but not as good as 600g 10% tower hp)

 

Experience

  • Level 1 - War Rank 2 - 1200 gold
    • Experience earned by Demigods increased by 10%.
  • Level 2 - War Rank 4 - 2400 gold
    • Experience earned by Demigods increased by 20%.
  • Level 3 - War Rank 6 - 3600 gold
    • Experience earned by Demigods increased by 30%.
  • Level 4 - War Rank 8 - 4800 gold
    • Experience earned by Demigods increased by 40%.

fix it to 1000g, 2000g, 3000g, 4000g

(in cataract, middle flag, exp favor item, buying citadel exp upgrade will give you 40% more exp at lv 1

and wanna see that awesome build ups too.)

 

Graveyard

  • Level 1 - War Rank 1 - 600 gold
    • Death penalty reduced by 15%.
  • Level 2 - War Rank 3 - 1800 gold
    • Death penalty reduced by 30%.
  • Level 3 - War Rank 9 - 5400 gold
    • Death penalty reduced by 50%.

 

come on .. why does this still exist...and not fixed.. is that really 5400g i see?

fix it to 

reduces time AND amount of gold opponents get

15%, 30%, 45% / 1000g, 2000g, 3000g

 

Finger of God

  • Level 2 - War Rank 10 - 4000 gold
    • The Citadel is upgraded with a powerful Finger of God. This weapon fires independently.

 

Any better idea? it is random and only helpful when it kills group of priests.

Giants

 

Level 4 - War Rank 10 - 6000 gold

  • Adds 2 Giants to the portal wave.

 

I think its way to cheap for a fun game. 700 gold is pretty enough. and can u guys like remove giants AoE damage?

towers just melt too easily and useless at post game.

I love the Finger of God idea. Dunno about balance concerns but I would love a way to get towers back.

Being only able to do it once is a cool way to put it in, IMO. It's like your one re-rack in beer pong!

as long as Weapon Damage is bugged it'll never be worth it. Even when they fix the bug, it'll be a tower nerf overall so you still probably won't buy it since you would be investing money into your towers to have a weaker effect than we have currently for unupgraded towers.

lol and they should remove giant strengh too. They should attack like priest. What do you think ? Giant are there for a reason dude. Giant are just fine like they are. 6k is a nice price. You know giant make a difference in game and 1k more can be really hard to get. Just keep giant like they are.

6k gold and those giants... really doesn't balance.

giant team vs non giant team, its definite.

6k gold for giants is better than 18k gold ashkandor for 1 character.. come on. its either way too cheap or the giants are OP for 6k gold

As hedgie briefly discusses above, towers of light currently have an AOE of 2 with 100% damage. If you get the tower damage upgrade the AOE increases to 3 but damage decreases to 10% (primary target still takes full damage). Arrow towers, Forts, and citadels also increase AOE size by 1, and AOE damage is 10%.

  • Do you think that Tower of Light AOE damage is a bug and should not be present? Therefore the damage upgrade would add an AOE, albeit a weak one?
  • Do you think that the damage upgrade should not affect ToLs? This leaves the current ToL AOE, but does give a bonus to other structures.
  • Do you think the damage upgrade should affect ToLs, but not change damage? This would increase the ToLs AOE radius, but not change the damage.
  • Other?

while discussing balance is great and all.. I highly doubt any new change ideas brought  about in this thread will in any way impact v1.3.  That would be more for modding work.. people who actually care about the game and have time to devote to tweaking balances.  Stardock is busy w/ elemental, and GPG has most definitely moved on and is releasing this to fix outstanding issues iirc.  Ideally some of the stuff from uberfix.. but drastic changes to the citadel.. I'd bet against it.
