You have no idea what I have went through to correct this problem, but to give you a hint, it did involve two system restores.
AND FINALLY; flash disabled = problem, flash enabled = NO problem
what is the status of accessing our "my settings" page???
Not sure if its a bug or not but...It would be nice if you set to view 60 in one library that its remembers that and carries over to all the libraries instead of going back to 9.

Since "Recent Post" is the most popular (you added it to the top bar), how about putting it in the Forums "drop down menu".
If I'm in the galleries, to get to the recent posts, I either have to go to the front page or go to the forums and "then" click on it.
Would be appreciated.
What is the latest with My Site? A recent upload shows no thumb in the profile page or the gallery page, only the infamous blue question mark.
There seems to be a thumbnailing delay, they always show up eventually but the full preview always works.
Anyone going to address this issue? When your in the forums and click any of the new links ( Home, Explore, etc.) the URL links are bad.
Those links are correct, Tom....
They are for -site- navigation. ![]()
For -forum- navigation....

From what I understand it could possibly be next week, but the devs could elaborate more.
How about the upload issue for Journeyman? My uploads are coming back as not "following guiidelines" Whats up with that? Beyond frustration now.
Best thing to do is take a vacation and not upload anything for now. ![]()
Well nothing personal, but that is downright ridiculous. What you are telling me is that if while in the forums I want to Explore, I can't. If I want to go back to the site home page, I can't. If I decide to shop, I can't. Is that right? Come on now, simply fix those links, and change the Home link for the forum page to say Forum Home, would sure make a helluva lot more sense. ![]()
Hey LightStar; what browser do you use, latest version of FF here and those links from the forums to the rest of the site work fine for me.
To make sure we are talking about the same links, it is the new site links at the top of the page that say Home, Explore, Articles, Forum and Shop. If I click on any of those links (with the exception of the Forum link), or any of the sub-links on the drop down menus, all I get is:

I am using Firefox latest version 3.6.3, but the odd thing is I just checked the site in IE8 and all is fine. If I try to go to https://www.wincustomize.com/ in Firefox, I get the above error code, but if I try to go to the same URL in IE8, it works fine.
The only way I can get to WinCustomize in Firefox is to go to https://www.wincustomizetest.com/ , but then that link issue and error code issue comes up when I go to the forums from there. Now this is all really strange!
EDIT: And why is word wrap not working?
I get that all over the place as well Tom. And I can't log into the site using IE. It just ignores me when I try logging in.
Umm.... ever heard of tabbed browsing?
all links are active and working for me using IE8 and "yep", tabbed browsing seems the best way to go. although it doesn't remember my settings across the platforms.
AND, I think someone owes me an apology for the "no, we don't use flash for those items".
I am sorry Snowman, and I know you are a respected Moderator, but that again is plain idiotic. Why would anyone have to purposely set up special tabbed browsing in order to navigate a website? ![]()
Either the browser or the site is showing an A.I. first: Taste.

That's correct. I think I remember Brad writing that the new Website was supposed to be more 'User Friendly', Snowy. If it's a temporary work around, that's one thing. However (with all deference to a great guy and super mod), If you have to redo your browser to use this website and that's permanent, then that seems counter-productive to me.
Did you make sure you were logged out of the site in Firefox first? I logged out on Firefox and IE8 logged in just fine. Might be the issue. ![]()
Good one Doc!
EDIT: Figured out the problem! In Firefox you have to go in and clear absolutely everything out of your browsing history, make sure you set the top drop down box to "Everything" and check all the boxes. Restart Firefox and all should be well. You will have to enter your login information again though at every site you were logged into. Yeah! Fixed!

when will the forums be taken off wincustomizetest.com? Most of the time when entering the forums from the main site you have to log in again. Fairly inconvienient act.
Edit: Oh how completely strange. This time coming to this thread took me to forums.wincustomize.com whereas the last time it took me to wincustomizetest.com. I smell a polecat in the henhouse somewhere..
^ I agree, Phoon. It is a PIA.
OK, new bug (I think). If I try to get into My Settings, I get:
