Couple questions before upgrade to OD2

I can not see OD 2 in impulse, I assume that I have to buy it from website, and after that it will upgrade my OD 1.9 in impulse to OD2.0, and I will not have OD 1.9 icon in impulse any more. Is it right? Or will I see separate 1.9 and 2.0 and I can at any moment revert back to 1.9 if I chose to?

If I upgrade, will it preserve my current configuration of the docks and the icons in them?

Can I run 1.9 and 2.0 at the same time?

Not sure on most of those questions but I *think* it's a beta pre-release version available if you pre-order 2.0

 

I could be wrong but that's what I was under the impression this was, currently.

Yes, you can buy it from the Stardock store, and once I did that I had to check my Registrations through the My Account settings, then I manually added the new OD2+ reg to Impulse, and OD2+ showed up in my software. I installed it and 1.9 is still on my system apparently (I didn't have to uninstall it first, OD2 installs to a different directory). OD2 launched and my tabbed dock was still there.
