Freight Tycoon

Settings Screen

How is it possible to get the Settings screen back up? After the first load it never came back up and I am not sure witch way I tagged it, to open each load or not to load, however, the problem that exists is that I have no sound. After running the settings menu the first time I had sound, when I went back to play it the next time and since, I have NO sound.

Please Help!

Yup - Same issue. Exact situation. There seems to be no 'setup' executable in the programs file.

Hey guys, got a solution for you.

We're going to update the game via Impulse soon, so you should get the settings menu.

If you can't wait, you need to append -s to the tycoon.exe

Easiest way is just typing this into the "search programs and files" box that you find after pressing the start button in Windows

C:\Program Files (x86)\1C\Freight Tycoon Inc\tycoon.exe -s

Your path may vary depending on the location of the game on your system, so adjust accordingly.

The update might not work if you already have it installed (it should work if you just bought the game).

So if it doesn't work, definitely use the tycoon.exe -s option. I tested it and it worked for me.

Any word on that update? I'm having the same problem. Trying the suggested quick-fix now.

I am having an issue where no save data in the game (including profiles) is being kept. I have Windows 7 and have tried running in XP compatibility mode, as well as "Run as Administrator". Nothing seems to be working that I have tried thus far. I would be happy to provide information, but I'm not quite sure what to provide...

On a side note, when I attempt to Change Profile, it gives me a critical null exception and the game crashes.

Thanks!

I have this "nil value" problem as well, but there are more problems, like not being able to do the campaign (beyond the tutorial), and not being able to save games.  It's like nothing with the profiles works (I have to re-enter my profile name every time I start the game.

I'm on windows 7 64-bit, and I installed the game into C:\Games\
