Start menu fix for Objectdock 64bit (win 7)

Ok i know how many ppl have moaned lke crazy about object docks features not working right well lucky for you some of us do have a bit of time to make a fix for that bloody start menu button ..... it took me 3 mins from start to finish .... figure that eh? ok heres how to do it... and ya i keep it simple so anyone can do it,...

Now this works with all version of windows xp, vista, vista 64 & windows 7 and both the object dock and the object dock Plus !!

If you cant work it out.. email me and i will email u the damn script that works! .. [email protected]

1. open notepad...

first line cut and paste this:-

 

set wShell=wscript.createobject("wscript.shell")

 

2nd line paste this:-

wShell.sendkeys "^{ESC}"

 

2 save as....

Start.vbs

job done ... 

 

3 create  NEW shortcut on Object dock..

brouse for the notepad you just created (now named start)

change the icon or wot ever....

easy now windows 7 will use the start menu so u can get rid of ya task bar all together like me..

Dude! Thank Ya, Thank Ya very much Man  B)  I once seen that wallpaper dude but i havent been able to find a download anywhere, do you by any chance know where ya got it?

propagandamagic ....wallpapers in screenshots need to be sufficiently obscured to 'prevent' their re-use as a wall [unless it is your own art]...it's a copyright issue....;)

Thanks, I just gave the standard Start button Icon found in Misc images in Stardock object dock

 

I also placed the shortcut on my Winstep Start Bar

Well, switching to rocketdock won't give you a start menu and taskbar in OD+ for your 64bit windows... And it'll be done when it's done. They gave us dates last year they didn't manage to keep, so I'm quite happy they're not trying to give more dates to break.

The problem with these necro posts is things change with time, Object Dock already does this directly...in windows 7 64bit.  This litttle script isn't needed.
