k, so the concept was to get as far away from the last theme I did as possible and still be able to skin Win 7 completely and correctly.

 

I also wanted to make a red and black theme that took advantage of the dramatic contrasts that this color combo can achieve.

 

Devilish, menacing, provokative, I dunno.. thats what is running through my head as I throw this PS mockup together.

 

I suppose X-( I will be doing a light and dark windows version as I dont see anyway around it...

 

...so this one may take a while to complete but here it is in it early.. fluid stage.

 

Oh and I may just keep the small branding text... cos I know :snowman: would approve  ;)

i've had an issue with black and red for almost 40 years due to many rival high schools (logansport, north miami, western, blackford) having them as their team colors. now, having said that, this wb skin looks superb. i'll certainly be buying it.

My youngest kid's school he's leaving this year is black and red and the high school he's going to is.. well.. you guessed it

Sometimes in life, we find ourselves speechless, yet, so many words dying to be spoken from inside.

I'm talking! Sadly words can't describe what I've witnessed, so I'll  throw in some sign language in the mix.

You can call it fantastic, superb, top notch, outstanding, simply the best out there, sweet, a killer, bang, etc... You can even connect all the best words together into one word, or make up a name, it won't be enough. Something has to be experienced, witnessed to be fully appreciated. DAMN, DAMN, DAMN! :w00t:

After I run the skin on Windows 7, it was total joy. Then I got sad :pout:   I don't think he, vStyler, can get any better than this. We are witnessing how good as it (SKINNING) gets - We live to see it!

I'm not talking. I'm speechless :w00t:

I agree though. The recolor option is pretty epic. There were a couple crappy skins I was working on months ago that actually looked better after I recolored them. :p
