I'm So Confused......

I uploaded the same image, US Capitol, into two galleries: Wallpapers ( https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=43129&libid=8#598279 ) which was given a 5 rating, and is live in the wallpapers gallery, and LogonStudio ( https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=8030&libid=65 ) which given a 2 rating and is nowhere to be found in that gallery.  It is only live in my gallery.

I'm confused as to the reasoning of the decision.  I know I am not great at graphic imaging as many of the outstanding people here are.  But, I am DAMN proud of my photograph of the US Capitol building.  I shot it using a permit from the Architect of the Capitol, granting permission to use a tripod on Capitol Hill (something that wasn't easy to get).

Now, let's see....

It's a photograph of a building, with a flag used as background.
Quality... well' I've personally seen better.
Does it work well as a background/wallpaper.... No, not really.
Does it work better as a logon? ....mmmmm No.

The reason why the Logon is not 'visible' is because it's in your Personal Gallery, only. [LINK]

Well, excellent! As long as you like your work, anyone elses opinion doesn't really matter. ;)

Just because a pic makes a great wallpaper doesn't mean it makes a great logon or booskin.  Also a great logon doesn't mean that it will make a great wallpaper.

you had to buy a permit.... what Uncle Sam just is not taking enough taxes from use .... next time take a cane with you and use it..

To be honest I wouldn't rate either of these highly. Although the building is reasonably placed the photo isn't that sharp; the colour balance, saturation and contrast are also off. The background is of limited appeal and pehaps a version without would be a good idea.
