am i the only person in the whole world who has NEVER received a valentines card?
the ones from my cats dont really count do they coz i send them lol 
My daughter has only received them from me (so that kinda doesn't count either) -- You need to PM me your e-mail address and you'll send you a virtual card. I had my share of miserable "no-love" valentine's days, and now I just celebrate the idea of love on that day (Oh...and Chocolate, because that's the chemical equivalent of love).
I don't know anyone who celebrates Valentines Day. Must be a more North American thing?
I did ask about this. The women in question said if their husbands came home with roses or a card they would throw it back. Why, because if they can't do it every day then don't suck up to me on one day. I suppose its more for the younger generation? We are not romantics down here. "love get me another beer from the fridge", "piss off, get it yourself you lazy bastard"

well i love flowers and chocolates any day of the year but its nice if someone makes an effort on valentines day-shows the calibre of my ex bfs doesnt it lol
I like Valentines Day, now.
When I was in school, no. I would rather have had a paper bag full of horseshit tied over my head while having to balance my ass on a barbed wire fence than go to school with that stupid freakin sack of Charlie Brown Valentines my mom would make me fill out for the classmates who would NOT be returning the sentiment because they were to busy trying to cook up another way to humiliate me.
I like valentines day.........but i dont care if i get anything or not...... id probably buy myself a fredo frog and a coke......xx
From the way I see it, if sexual preference really were the "choice" some people think it is, I really wouldn't be choosing hetero for myself; then again, I really have too high expectations of what my admirer(s) should be doing for my attention -- the only creature with the sort of time and biological makeup to worship me the way I think I should be worshipped is my dog. My disappointment is of my own making.

A man was sitting on the edge of the bed, watching his wife, who was looking at herself in the mirror. Since Valentines Day was not far off he asked what she'd like to have for Valentines Day.
'I'd like to be six again', she replied, still looking in the mirror .
On the morning of Valentines Day, he arose early, made her a nice big bowl of Lucky Charms, and then took her to Six Flags theme park. What a day! He put her on every ride in the park; the Death Slide, the Wall of Fear, the Screaming Roller Coaster, everything there was.
Five hours later they staggered out of the theme park. Her head was reeling and her stomach felt upside down. He then took her to a McDonald's where he ordered her a Happy Meal with extra fries and a chocolate shake.
Then it was off to a movie, popcorn, a soda pop, and her favorite candy, M&M's. What a fabulous adventure!
Finally she wobbled home with her husband and collapsed into bed exhausted.
He leaned over his wife with a big smile and lovingly asked, 'Well Dear, what was it like being six again?'
Her eyes slowly opened and her expression suddenly changed.
'I meant my dress size, you retard!!!!'
The moral of the story: Even when a man is listening, he is still gonna get it wrong.

I got my other half a bag and belt set for valentines day.......... I can't wait to see her little face light up when she realises the Hoover is working again......... B[]
