objectdock and browser problem?

Does anyone have a fix/solution for this? Or is anyone else experiencing this same prob.?

After installing Objectdock, I have to use the "docked" link to run the browser and surf the web.  I cannot get to the web with the stand alone normal shortcut.  The non-objectdock shortcut runs the browser and the window opens - it just doesn't pull data from the internet.  ONLY by running objectdock and then clicking on the objectdock firefox icon - do i get to the world wide web.....

If there is no way to reinstate usability for the normal link - then i will just look at this as a good way to keep kids from browsing the internet w/o permission (parental controls - its a secret).....by turning off objectdock when i'm not around.

The same problem happens for internet explorer, as well.

Thanks,

Chris G.

Have never had any problem like you are describing.  What you might do is compare properties for both and see if they are different.

Well thanks for posting.... it really isn't that big of a deal....

It is just really annoying when my wife wants to use my computer and can't get on the internet.....and I get flack for it....

Re: your suggestion: The file is okay. One is really just a shortcut to the same file.  I run the file and no webpages, but when I run the browser from the objectdock i can browse the web normally.  It is really strange and befuddling.
