Entrenchment versions and updates

Do you have any mods enabled?  I suggest shutting them off (though I don't see why that should be a problem).

What happens when you click the <Ironclad Online> button?  Have you already registered an account with ICO?  Do you get the error message when you try to log in with your user name and password or is it coming before that?

This morning right around the time you posted the ICO servers were being tweaked for the Beta 3 release of Diplomacy. If you were trying to get on while that was happening, it's pretty possible that's why it was giving you the wrong version funkyness.

Is it still happening?

I'm still having the same problem. I can log into ICO ok but when I try to join a game it says I have the wrong version. I tried hosting my own game and others couldn't join it. I registered using all the same info as I used to buy the game. I realy don't know what to do. I guess I'll have to talk to Star Dock.

Ah if it's game joining then it's not a version mismatch (to log on ICO you need the latest version and that's the only version that works). It's a data mismatch. Either you or the host has modded files in the main directory or a mod enabled, and since it sounds like you're having issues joining any game, it's likely you. If you're certain you don't have anything modded and aren't running one, your best bet would be to uninstall, manually delete the installation path, and re-install.

What you said worked Annatar, thanks. But now I have a new problem. When I join a game it says that my files don't mesh and I need to check for updates. I have v 1.041 for entrenchment and Impulse doesn't say I have anymore updates. Also people can't join my game if I try to host.

This is driving me mad lol.

You could of gotten a bad download or patch...Delete everything and reinstall and see if it fixes it.
