WHO STILL PLAYS THE ORIGINAL SINS?!

I have Entrenchment but I play it sometimes.  It's hard to keep an eye on it from Entrenchment and so sometimes I'll keep both Regular and Entrenchment open and log on and off to check the activity in both games.  If you plan to play online a lot you really should consider getting Entrenchment.

i plan vanilla for right now. until i get entrenchment

I only play Original Sins becuase of the Star Trek Mod...until they release the new verison for entrenchment....

i can't download entrenchment so im up for vanilla

just played a vanilla game so there are definitely people still playing.

though from playing online after a long while i see why this game really needs the entrenchment expansion.

I just moved from vanilla to entrenchment and play multiplayer with entrenchment. I like the simplicity of the vanilla version though. In time, once I master entrenchment, I will move to diplomacy. I keep that now as a nice present for the future (although I have already bought it). 

I don't play online, but we play alot of Vanilla Sins at LAN's. At the moment we're heavily into Sacrifice of Angels 2 mod for Original Sins. To the point where the only person capable of finishing that mod for Original Sins (Me) has comitted to finishing the mod. Probably a waste of time for the online community, but considering it's used heavily for our Lans it's worth it.

@refudiate - This thread is old and you won't likely get a response from any of them.

My suggestion, atleast get Entrenchment. It's a better game than the vanilla game. But if you really want to consistentally play against real people you'll need Diplomacy. Just don't be shocked when you see only 40-50 people online. There are however consistent games being started that are PvP in Diplomacy which you won't find in Vanilla/Entrenchment.

What Zombie said.  If you want to play Sins in online multiplayer you really need Diplomacy.  There are 4v4s and 5v5s every day; it's where the action is.  However, the player counts are still disappointingly low.
